This brief required me to produce a comic strip based on the word and idea of loneliness. It shows him contemplating ending his life and re-thinking solutions to overcome this. First shown are negative ways. He then thinks of positives which leads him to take off his hoodie; exposing himself as a new person and walking away. The work combines both hand drawn and digital illustrations.

These digital illustrations were created first using Adobe Illustrator and then Photoshop. They were inspired by such artists as Andy Warhol who created a number of line based drawings with both detailed and limited line. They are black and white due to the depressing nature of the brief.

To compliment my loneliness brief, I decided to add a series of black and white film photographs. These were what I first planned to base my illustrations on. However I decided to use them separately and alongside my final. Film. All photos developed into A4
